Andrew Swift, Tasmanian Brewery KICK|SNARE’s founder and head brewer, has been making beer for around 10 years (and drinking it for far longer). KICK|SNARE Brewing seeks to blend the two passions in Andrew’s life: music and craft beer.

At the heart of the Tasmanian Brewery KICK|SNARE is a simple belief: the local pub should be home to good beer and good music. The brewery has a vision to support local musicians by presenting opportunities for to collaborate in the creation of seasonal brews.

Ella Brown of Motown - Brown Ale

This luscious brown beauty is brewed in tribute to the heyday of Motown, when performances were honest and captured first or second take by the humble warmth of analogue technology.

Ella Brown of Motown offers loads of quality malty goodness with plenty of amber and dark crystal malts, a big helping of roast barley and a solid foundation of traditional ale malt. Early and late additions of Tassie's own Ella hops bring the soul to this party.

    SRM: 24.5
    IBU: 34

The Fifty-Eight - Australian Pale Ale

A highly sessionable Australian pale ale produced from traditional ale malt dressed with a portion of wheat and crystal malts. Generous additions of fresh Pride of Ringwood place this hop back where it belongs: in the bellies of the most discerning of Aussie drinkers.
Brewed in tribute to the most fundamental instrument of the performer's tool kit since the ‘60s: the ever-reliable '58 microphone.
